I booked a tour to Kgalagadi, with good results, lots of Nature, not many people. The chalets are mostly very old, but new chalets are being build. The unfenced Wilderness camps are hot in summer and very cold in winter, but a great experience! The roads are really bad, so a good 4×4 is needed. It’s a good idea to use a local tour operator – the guide of Kalahari Safaris can spot animals easily in the wide open spaces, and makes the nicest food on a fire!
